Herman KrebbersHerman Krebbers made his concert debut as a child prodigy at the age of nine. Concert tours of Europe and the United States presented him to an international audience. He was given a golden record for his interpretations of Beethoven´s, Mozart´s and Brahm´s violin concertos together with the Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, and he received the »Edison« for his recording of two Haydn concertos. Herman Krebbers has taught numerous young violinists as Professor at the Robert Schumann Academy in Düsseldorf and has taught for more than 40 years at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. He has been a juror at such esteemed competitions as the Wienawski/Poland, ARD/Munich, Menuhin Festival/Folkstone and in Tokyo, London, Salzburg und Pretoria, among others. He holds master classes around the world. Herman Krebbers was named an Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau for his contributions to the musical life of the Netherlands. | ||||
